The rottweiler breed is a very interesting and special kind of breed. It is only suited for a special kind of people. Today the old roman dog, the police dog, working dog and family dog, is more popular than ever before. The rottweiler is a very powerful dog, mentally as well as physically. It is a courageous and strong-minded individual that wants to be in the alpha position. Before buying a rottweiler it is important to make certain that you have enough knowledge and devotion concerning the breed.

You have to keep in mind that the dog might measure 68 cm at the withers and weigh as much as 60 kilos. It is also quite expensive to own. It eats a lot and requires quality food.

The rottweiler does not appreciate being chained up. His place is by your side and in the family. Normally the rottweiler does not bark a lot. When he does bark it's powerful and impressive like the rest of the dog.

In order to get the most out of this dog and not to create problems to people and other animals, it's of vital importance that you are able to control your dog. This is accomplished with obedience training. Furthermore it is very important to have the right mental attitude. Compared to other breeds such as for example the german shepherd, the rottweiler might be a little slower to learn, but once he has got the knack of it he will never forget. This might partly be because of his stubbornness and high self-esteem.

The rottweiler shows a natural inclination for personal protection and guarding. In this respect I think he is one of the best in the world. Very often he shows these qualities without being trained. Being properly trained and brought up the rottweiler is hard to equal as a protector and a companion.

My Breeding

I have been breeding rottweilers for about 20 years. Over the years I have many satisfied customers. I also try to maintain contact with the dogs I have sold. My aim is to produce sound animals, suited both as family dogs and utility dogs. Some litters may be a little more to the utility side.

My dogs carry the best swedish and german blood. All of my dogs have been mentally tested and all of my dogs have also been X-rayed for hip dysplasia and elbow malfunctions. I breed in accordance with the stipulations from the German Rottweiler Club (ADR) concerning mentality, conformation and size.

I usually have pups available a couple of times every year. For export my price is from 1000 us dollar and up. This price does not include shipping and other means of transportation. It also does not include other unforeseen expenses.
